SRIKANDI TPS COMMEMORATES DARTIN KARTINI WITH SHARING
Surabaya (21/4) - Amid the corona virus pandemic (VIRUS COVID-19), Srikandi PT Terminal Petikemas Surabaya (TPS) warned him in an unusual way. Moving quickly, Srikandi TPS distributed direct food assistance (BSL) to the poor or economically affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.
This assistance, which is part of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activities, is channeled to women workers in the informal sector (online motorcycle taxi drivers, parking attendants, and street vendors) in the Surabaya area.
On this occasion, Dothy as the President Director of TPS revealed that through this activity, TPS would like to lighten the burden on the community, especially during the current pandemic. Dothy also emphasized that the BSL distribution was carried out without gathering mass, but was carried out by way of a road show so that it was directly on target and by implementing the COVID-19 transmission / transmission prevention protocol including the use of personal protective equipment (masks, gloves) and maintaining distance.
The implementation of BSL is one of the TPS initiatives in carrying out its social responsibilities to the environment and the community and following up on government directives in carrying out physical distancing as an effort to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
"Happy Kartini Day, let's remain grateful, keep spiritless and mental steel, in accordance with the exemplary spirit of Mrs. Kartini." said Dothy.
