First Time ,TPS gets SNI Award 2018
Jakarta – Thursday (11/22), PT. Terminal Petikemas Surabaya made a history, after successfully defending the Public Service award in 2018, now for the first time TPS successfully won the 2018 Silver Award SNI category.
SNI Award is the highest award from the government of the Republic of Indonesia to organizations that are considered to have run a good operational management system, and have consistently applied the Indonesian National Standard (SNI).
The first time was held in 2004, so this year is the 14th SNI award was held.
Organizational Performance of SNI Implementation is the assessment material, which the jury team updates continuously every year. This year the number of participants is more than 200 organizations including manufacturing, services and universities. Of all the participants, 56 organizations were considered eligible for recognition through the SNI Award held by the National Standardization Agency (BSN).
At the first time of its participation, Terminal Petikemas Surabaya won the SNI Award 2018 in the Silver category.
"It is an honor for us to get this award, thank you for the support of all those who have made this achievement possible," said Erika A. Palupi, Legal & Commercial PT TPS, who had the opportunity to receive the award at the 2018 SNI Award at the Intercontinental Hotel on Wednesday (11/21/2018).
Various conveniences were given to the TPS's customers starting from Pandu services that are ready 24 hours, Online Booking Clique 247, Fastpay as an online payment system which integrated with Banking, and various other conveniences.

Tentang PT Terminal Petikemas Surabaya :
PT Terminal Petikemas Surabaya atau disingkat TPS adalah salah satu anak perusahaan yang tergabung dalam Pelindo III Group, bergerak dibidang jasa kepelabuhanan dalam pelayanan terminal petikemas ekspor-impor dan domestik. TPS berdiri sejak tahun 1992 sebagai Unit Terminal Peti Kemas (UTPK) dan diprivatisasi pada tanggal 29 April 1999 oleh P&O Dover dengan saham kepemilikan sebesar 49%. Pada tahun 2004 TPS telah mencapai throughput >1 juta Teus dan terus bertambah hingga saat ini. Pada tanggal 1 Maret 2006 Holding Company P&O Port diakuisisi oleh DP World, sehingga seluruh asset dan penyertaan milik P&O Dover berpindah kepemilikan ke DP World, termasuk saham 49% di TPS sehingga komposisi saham TPS adalah 51% milik PT Pelindo III dan 49% milik DP World.
TPS menjalankan bisnis inti sebagai operator terminal petikemas, sebagai gerbang perekonomian dari kegiatan ekspor – impor diwilayah Indonesia Timur dan merupakan terminal pertama di Indonesia yang menerapkan standar keamanan kapal dan fasilitas pelabuha yang mulai diberlakukan pada bulan Juli 2004.
