Location PT. Terminal Petikemas Surabaya is the gateway to the economies of Eastern Java and Eastern Indonesia. Strategically directly connected to the Surabaya Freeways System of Surabaya and to Indonesian Railways in addition to its direct sea access it is ideally located to speed the movement of containers to their final destinations. Situated to the west of the Port of Tanjung Perak, 7° 12’S, 112° 40’ E, the terminal lies at the end of a 25 mile long channel between the Islands of Java and Madura. Minimum channel width is currently 100 metres with a depth of 9.5 metres (LWS). The Channel is well marked and the Pilot Station at Karang Jamuang is manned 24 hours a day.
